Professor Hugo Critchley
Hugo’s main clinical focus over recent years is the recognition and management of neurodevelopmental conditions and their overlapping presentation in adults. This includes the assessment and treatment of Tics & Tourette syndrome and ADHD.
Neurodivergent individuals may show many strengths but can also experience difficulties. Often there are vulnerabilities to physical as well as mental health concerns. There is usually no simple solution for the range of issues encountered by unique individuals at different stages of their lives. Hugo offers a comprehensive assessment necessary for planning psychological and/or medical treatments, if appropriate, and to tailor requests for reasonable adjustments.
Hugo is registered with UKAD as a specialist clinician to offer assessments for Therapeutic Use Exemption applications for athletes over 18 yrs old with ADHD.
